I have a BS in biochemistry and earned a 4.69 GPA during my studies at King Abdul Aziz University. I have taken several lab courses in analytical chemistry and a training course in King Fahad medical research center where I learned the basics of HPLC, GC-MS, PCR and REAL-TIME PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA isolation and gained practical experience.
While working in KAU as a lab technician I successfully applied my research skills and maintained the laboratory, I also participated in monitoring equipment. In addition, I was responsible for maintaining biohazard and chemical safety standards by ensuring our team and students properly handled and disposed of potentially hazardous chemical and biological agents
