Maintaining general ledger, including preparing general
entries, coding invoices, accounts analysis and
reconciliation, closing books monthly, setting up new
accounts. Practice bank reconciliation statement at the end of
each month.
Reconciles monthly bank statements, verifies all deposits,
and handles discrepancies and problems.
Oversees accounts receivables collection from customers
and reconciles customer accounts.
Initiates modifications or enhancements to computerized
systems for accounting management data.
Assists external auditors at year end including preparation of
schedules, invoices and explaining supporting materials and
procedures.
Performs accounts payable duties such as verifying all
invoices for payment, ensure expenditures are charged to
appropriate accounts.
Updates records for fixed assets and all other financial
documents as necessary.
Monthly financial reporting, Refine and reviews systems,
procedures & policies
Preparation and presentation of monthly & quarterly financial
statements.
Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries,
invoices, and other accounting documents.
Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend
appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
Liaison work with internal and external auditors, banks and
regulatory agencies.
