This project present “Design and Implementation of Bidirectional Energy Meter to Measure Various Electric Parameters” Which use in Home and various types of industries to measure the energy import and export. Renewable generation is not as foreseeable as fossil fuel energy sources, and because of this managing a grid with renewable generation can be hard and tough. Smart meters can give real time information on the generation that is currently active, and the energy on the grid. Our project provide a communication between consumer and producer, this Process allows a better monitoring of energy consumption and the introduction of changing , unsteady and varying energy tariffs, which are better suited to alternative renewable energy production. Our bidirectional meter measures power flows going into and out of your home or business. The contrast between a bidirectional meter and a conventional meter is that the bidirectional meter has three different readings: (1) import (2) export, and (3) net Metering; whereas the Conventional meter only has one reading. Most grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) solar systems today have no chance of storing the electricity generated by their rooftop solar energy systems to utilize later. That means solar panels produce electricity, it goes first to powering the lights, appliances and electronics.
The main purpose of our project is to abolish manual meter reading, enhance and better Accuracy and Peak load reduction ,improve and increase effiecency and minimize energy loses and Net metering
