I worked for 10 years as Structural engineer in engineering office for project management and supervision. I worked for 19 years in contracting, project management and implementation.
• Study project documents (contract-spec-contractual schemes).
• Review structural design for projects.
• Check shop drawing and approve it.
• Monitor the activities of the project and match them with the approved schedule of the project.
• Check materials with specs contract and approve it.
• Receive and review of security and safety plan for the project.
• Monitor the method of implementation and its compliance with safety and security plan.
• Monitor the work and continuously review the reports submitted by the contractor.
• Making quantity survey for projects.
• Review the variation orders and payment’s certificates.
• Follow-up the implementation at the site and the extent of its conformity to the approved workshop plans, as well as materials approved by the project specifications.
• Monitor the primary delivery of the project, prepare a snag list, and agree with the contractor to avoid them with no more than two weeks.
