Responsibilities / Duties:
• Shoulder the overall responsibility of the RESERVE POWER (RP) arm of the business comprising Sales {Stand-by (SMF) Power, Nickel-Cadmium etc. Batteries}, Product Support, Purchase process and Inventory control at the Head Office.
• Shoulder the overall responsibility of the RP Sales process at the branches and joint ventures (where applicable).
• Carry out a RP market survey and analysis
• Prepare Presentations to introduce and promote the product to consultants/consulting engineers / project management companies / end-users
• Get the product specified with the various authorities like Electricity & Water Authorities, Communication Service Providers, Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industries etc.
• Generate inquiries, do the costing, prepare comprehensive proposals and follow-up to order finalization
• Carry out the Commercial and Technical clarification and definition of orders
• Provide Commercial and Technical support to the customers and see projects through to final execution
• Closely follow up on collections
• Prepare and submit regular reports
• Liaise with Branch Managers / Joint Venture Partners / Department Heads while in their territories.
• Visit existing customers and new prospects in the UAE and GCC countries (where applicable).
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer records.
• Follow the company’s policies and procedures including, but not limited to, appropriate codes of conduct, QMS and EMS guidelines.
• Perform any additional tasks/responsibilities assigned by the Manager – MHD and the Executive Vice President.
