Qualifications:

Experienced Geotechnical Civil Engineer with (12) years of experience in Soil investigation, shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, and soil improvement.

Skilled in planning, execution and supervision of site investigation works.

Job Description:

Develop Geotechnical Investigations scope of work, specifications, schedule and BOQ at the tender/procurement stage.
Coordinate, manage and track the review of Geotechnical deliverables produced by the designer/ contractor, including schedules, reports, and provide feedback to project’s team.
Participate in site visits and investigations (inspect slopes, witness geotechnical fieldwork, oversee dewatering, soil investigations, ground improvement, weak/hard rock identification, face mapping, etc.).
Assist in preparing weekly reports, monthly progress reports, presentations, etc.
Coordinate and visit jobsite as required, to monitor progress, resolve problems and provide technical support during construction phase.
Review contractors approved for construction drawings, respond in a timely manner to technical queries (TQs) and technical submittals to ensure compliance with design documents and specifications.
Provide guidance and ensure engineering quality design and compliance with client requirements, local design guidelines, local codes, international codes, and standards.
