American Mattress is one of the Kuwait’s pioneer companies in the field of Bedding retail trading and distribution in the region. Est. in 1996 started with one Branch/showroom in Dhajeej area in Farwaniya and a store in Sulaibiya of 750 sq. meters (8,072 sqft). In 1997, Shuwaikh branch (900sqm) was started and became the headquarters. With the need to keep pace with the demand for our products and service, another warehouse of 750 sq. meters (8,073 sqft) was rented, now totaling 1,500 sqm (16,145 sqft) of warehouse area. Thereafter, in April 2000, the Hawally Branch (110 sqm) was opened. Over the years, American Mattress has gained the reputation that it deserves by providing its customers with branded American made Mattresses. Mr. Mohammad S. Al-Huwaitan, Kuwaiti National, Founder-patron of American Mattress was inspired in selling American made mattress for the Gulf region.

Presently, American Mattress has the biggest, exclusive department store in Kuwait and in the Gulf Region, called 'American Mattress Mall'. It is specialized in displaying mattress sets only and is located at the Future Zone, Shuwaikh with a built-up area of more than 2000 sq. meter (21,528 sqft) The Department Store can display about 100 mattresses sets categorized as Adults, Kids, Orthopedic, Luxury, Natural, Adjustable and all kinds of medical & Healthy Beds and Bed Accessories. The Department Store is now the new headquarters and is the nucleus of the entire operation in the region.
We have a diversified department to over look into the operations of the Company with – Sales & Marketing Department, Finance Department, HR & Administration Department, Warehousing Department, and Retail.

Present Scenario – We have products from high end, medium and low end, catering to the various requirement of the customers. American Mattress sells a wide variety of Mattress sets in the Luxury range, Natural Range, Orthopedic range, Latex range plus Box Springs, Water Beds, Air Beds, Adjustable beds and bed accessories like linens, pillows, mattress pads, etc. We have four showrooms primely located at Shuwaikh Free Zone, Hawally, Farwaniya (Dhajeej Area), Jahra (Amghara), and 7 Zone (opening soon).

The total retail selling space is approx. 2186 sq. meters and more outlets are being opened shortly. American Mattress Co is the first in Kuwait to hold a showroom exclusively for Latex Mattresses and also we are the first to have a showroom for the concept of Organic Bedding under ‘Green bed ‘to be opened in 7 Zone
