The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all maintenance activities across various sites, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards. This position requires collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop maintenance schedules, manage resources effectively, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment.
  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting ongoing projects.
  • Analyze data from maintenance reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manage budgets related to maintenance operations efficiently.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in the construction or engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written; ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in facilities management or engineering (e.g., HVAC certification) are preferred.
