The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization’s inventory, prepare the stock reports, analyze the data, and order the necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, and forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability. Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking, leftover items, and out-of-stock.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Keep efficient stock from all items, re-ordering new stock after analyzing and auditing the stock
  2. data for each item.
  3. Establishes and maintains secure and sufficient stock for high-demand items.
  4. Generate the stock reports such as re-order level reports (ROL), stock reports, and sales reports for all
  5. items by category, vendor, and store, and slow-moving and Stagnant items.
  6. Reporting to the inventory control manager with, recommendations, and analyzing results.
  7. Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors.
  8. Follow up the display enhancement and coordinate with the visual merchandiser's team (V.M) for the movement and support the display with the required items to make the display complete.
  9. and harmonious to give the customer a unique experience.
  10. Do continuous efforts to keep the stock between the warehouses efficient and balanced to avoid losing any selling opportunities?
  11. Contribute in the offers and campaign ideas to enhance sales.
  12. Study, analyze, and nominate the new items.
  13. Assist in the annual inventory in his category to solve all the stock issues.

Required Skills/Abilities

Computer knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience with ERP system (prefer ERP Microsoft Dynamics AX).
  • Excellent communication skills with, the purchasing department, and outside vendors.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree (Graduate) or equivalent is required
  2. Minimum 3-5 years experience of warehouse operation required
  3. India Experience: Experience should be with any Reputed & relevant Industry.
  4. Experience with computerized inventory systems is required.
  5. Fluent in English - Spoken and Written: (Must know how to draft professional emails)
  6. Age should be 25-30 years

Organizational Relationships :

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.

Functional Competencies:

  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of reporting, analyzing, and making complete presentations.
