I have been working in the LOGISTICS UNIT as a Warehouse Officer in the UNITED NATIONS-WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME and MERLIN International since 2009.Handled HELLI OPERATION in SUKKER and DADDU SINDH In flood Emergency Operation 2010. I have done M.A(EPM) and Certified Professional Manager (CPM) in LOGISTICS and SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT.Attended the training regarding WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT, HUMAN RESOURCE, ADMINISTRATION, TRANSPORTATION FIELD ACTIVITIES, BASIC SECURITY IN THE FIELD, ADVANCED SECURITY IN THE FIELD, FIRST AID RESCUE and EWAYBILL in the UN-WFP.
Supervise the offloading and stacking of food and non-food commodities at LHO warehouse, in line with standard SOPs.
Supervise the off-loading and stacking of commodities, and report the same to LHO’s Logistics Assistant or Logistics Officer or concerned management.
Review delivery documents for incoming goods to LHO warehouse before off-loading ensuring originality with consignment;
Ensure that accurate and complete commodity accounting, reporting and internal control systems established in LHO warehouse are functioning and that all relevant records are maintained;
Ensure that WFP commodity management standard systems are properly maintained at warehouses;
Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to commodity arrivals in the warehouse;
Control incoming goods both food and non-food commodities by such methods as physical counts, random weight checks, rejection of any spoiled commodities, reconditioning of underweight bags, etc.;
Ensure all incoming and outgoing trucks are well registered by the security guards at the gate;
Share consolidated daily warehouse reports with all stakeholders;
Conduct stock reconciliation to ensure that reports are reflecting a true record of stocks;
Carry out regular commodity physical random check/inventory in the warehouse;
Prepare the necessary process for commodity disposal in collaboration with the Logistics Officer.
Ensure that loading of food commodities is done on a timely manner meeting the required time deadlines;
Ensure that food commodities are issued by following FIFO/LIFO system to avoid deterioration;
Participate in the weekly, monthly and annual physical inventory of commodities food and non-food;
Maintain clean and pest-free storage;
Provide over all supervision on reconditioning activities ensuring qualities are maintained and provide guidance to other store staff at LHO warehouse.
Prepare DSMR and way bill summary.
• To act as focal point for all warehouse functions for Bannu, and to provide support that Merlin warehouses are managed properly at all sites. Responsible for administration of Bannu warehouse in close collaboration with Logistics Coordinator following Merlin protocols and procedures,
• Supervise warehousing staff in Bannu
• Ensure that all cool chain items are maintained in line with drug management guidelines, and to advise other sites as required.
• To ensure that designated personnel maintain all generators at warehouse and that they are working properly and maintain in good fashion and to run checks accordingly.
• Perform full stock take every three months in Bannu warehouse and to advise other sites as required.
• To ensure that all stock card, bin cards of items within the warehouse and pharmacy.
• To check and prepare, as required, the packing list, for checking by the pharmacist before issuing of medicine.
• To make sure that all the boxes are properly labeled using Merlin’s labeling template while sending to the field.
• To ensure that all waybills and GRNs for items to be issued or to be received are correct and recorded correctly.
• Liaise with assistant fleet manager to assure consistent supply chain throughout the country.
• Ensure transparent and effective distribution of all orders from Bannu according to Merlin procedures
• Develop transport and labor database and ensure transparent use
• To prepare stock movement report on monthly basis and to submit to the logistics Coordinator for verification and approval.
• To ensure that the warehouse fully meets health and safety standards.
• Ensure TWD (transit warehouse database) is kept updated, shared weekly, and that field is kept informed of distribution progress
• Submit SMR on monthly basis.
• To control and monitor the warehouse operations at Bannu Office.
• To ensure that there is restricted access into the warehouse staff access is only openly available to certain designated staff
