• A strategic PROCUREMENT, responsible for managing procurement activities and operations from identifying requirements to receiving material / services in order to fulfil company project needs and requirements efficiently and effectively.
• Familiar with Procedures and Reports of Saudi Aramco, E1 and E2 Logs, CPR and Monthly P.O status Reports.
• Handling weekly, Procurement and Progress Meetings with Consultant (TURNER) and Client (ARAMCO).
• Develop the Procurement function’s strategic goals, business plans, budgets and resources in coordination with the Director of Support Services.
• Develop adequate policies and processes for the Procurement function to maintain efficient operational excellence.
• Communicates the Procurement function’s guidelines and processes to employees and ensures clear understanding of these guidelines.
• Work towards achieving the Procurement function’s strategic goals and reports progress to executive management.
• Plan, directs, and manages the procurement activities of the company under direction from the Director of Support Services.
• Provide technical and consultant support as required, be focal point for Contractor’s procurement documentation, check Contractor’s compliance with Procurement Procedures and Work Practices, Project Procurement Execution Plan, Project Supplier Lists to meet project objectives
• Maintain awareness of the materials supply situation including area sources, price levels and current deliveries
• Good direct project purchasing experience on a global basis
• Possess good knowledge of project procurement execution.
• Extensive experience in Engineering industries and knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Analyse various sources of information (e.g. supplier monthly reports, production schedules, sub orders, drawing / documentation submittals etc.) to identify trends, issues and risks to the project
