 Ensuring that the project health, safety, environment plans reflects company`s policy.
 Fully responsible for the implementation and coordination of the project’s Safety Plan.
 Participating in weekly meetings with client & consultant to meet their safety requirements.
 Participating in Project Safety Index, which is conducted by client`s Safety Manager to evaluate the safety performance of the contractors safety team.
 Maintains and control daily Safety practices with regular checks of work sites, ensures that hazards are identified; precautionary measures are taken and provide Safety advice to trades
 Perform daily inspections of all construction activities and take immediate action to correct any unsafe conditions or practices.
 Perform daily inspection & fill up daily check lists of heavy equipment’s.
 Provides initial safety indoctrination to the contractor’s safety representative, evaluates working conditions and recommends improvements in safety practices and procedures.
 Indoctrinate all new employees, visitors regarding HSE policy and site safety procedures.
 Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses; review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.
 Maintaining the records of inductions, toolbox talks, trainings, permit to work, check lists, equipment operators, Tuv and 3rd party certifications.
 Preparing of Risk Assessment as per method statement.
 Promoting HSE culture with incentive & awarding program.
 Conducting training for emergency respond team.
 Liaising with local authorities to obtain permits for underground and overhead utilities.
 Ensure that welfare facilities in place and in good order.
 Provide first aid to site workers for minor injuries.
 Respond to emergency situations as directed by radio, telephone, or observation.
 Organizing firefighting trainings.

Enforce company site safety rules and regulations inside the worksite.
Ensure regular toolbox talks at site as per company policy.
Coordinate with Supervisors and Foreman regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and notify them regarding violation of safe work procedures.
Ensure that safe work procedure pertaining to the work activities are continuously observed & complied.
Ensure that signage and barricading are provided & maintained in the project site.
Ensuring site operatives are aware of risks and hazards.
Provide advice and counsel to all employees regarding proper implementation and compliance of safe work procedure of the project.
Promote and disseminate health, safety and environmental issues and awareness through regular toolbox talks and posting of H.S.E alert posters.
Supervise the preparation of various safety signs and installation of safety barricades as required inside the worksite.
Conducting safety inspection of portable power tools and hand tools on monthly basis.
Record and report all accidents and incidents in the site.
Investigate accidents by spot inspection and interrogation of parties and /or witnesses involved to determine the root causes and prevent recurrence of it.
Enforcement of excellent housekeeping in the project site to eliminate slip & Trip Hazards.
Inspect all ladders & Scaffolds and see to it that all safety tags are installed before use.
Ensure that plant and machinery, where necessary, is serviceable, correctly guarded and equipped in accordance with legal and other requirements.
Ensure safe access and emergency exit on the worksite.
Participates in HSE meetings and company HSE promotional programs.
Identify any hazards/unsafe conditions and ensure work does not proceed until situation is made safe.
