Production Engineer-Main Purpose:-To manage the production process and teams to deliver the objectives of improved production efficiency/ reduced spoilage and better cost control to achieve cost effective production of cans to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.--* Production-1) Assume responsibility for day-by-day decisions affecting the department/ product and process.-2) Ensure the effectiveness of planning and process control systems within the department.-3) Report on the performance of the line against Business Objectives including spoilage/ efficiency and cost targets.-4) Develop equipment/ processes and procedures to ensure world-class performance following equipment/ design and material changeovers and set-ups.-5)Ensure effective maintenance and lubrication systems/ -6) Ensure that housekeeping standards are being applied across the site.-* -* Quality-1) Support quality improvement programmes to achieve budget KPI improvements.-2) Ensure diligent investigation of customer complaints and the implementation of effective corrective actions.--* People-1) Communicate with the teams on any matters affecting the activities of the team or the individuals within the team/ specific tasks for individuals to undertake.-* 2)Ensure that the shift is crewed with sufficient manpower to meet the required demands on the teams; organize overtime within agreed guidelines.--Microsoft Office-* AutoCAD 14-* Analytical Skills-* Basic Knowledge in CNC Machine Programming.--Courses-* Workshop on Management Program.2011 for 3 days-* * Six Sigma (Process Understanding and Control/ Process Improvement and Optimization).and green belt training.2011 for 4 days.-* * Managing Safely (IOSH) 2012.-* * SMED Workshop 2013 for 2 days.-* * Introduction to Safety Observation and Communication Program.-En gineering Training:
