Working closley with the Saudi Food and Drug Authoirty to issue certificates to approved imported food products based on the SFDA, GSO and ISO standards
Starting with product assessment till place the product in the market, responsible for the below but not limited to
Assess product and/or exporter risk levels, identification of product essential requirements and applicable import eligibility and standards following the Business Rules on conformity assessment, classification, process flows, Conformity Assessment Instructions (CAls), and other related references
Provides quality and technically-based opinion on product standards and product classification and certification
Assists in the resolution of standards, classification and certification cases and other requests and or inquiries by utilization of technical expertise on specific goods or commodity.
Provides applicable product standards and classification opinion on the Report based on the Business Rules.
Formulates Conformity Assessment Instructions based on product s and performance standards
Attends to all other operational concerns regarding Report issuance which needs technical and experienced opinion
Audits the quality of the information and completeness of the documents and ensures that it is correctly indexed in the system.
Audits the file administration, standards and classification of the Reports to be issued
Provides timely and effective responses to the network in relation to inquiries concerning essential product requirements, standards, and classification and also service request inquiries.
Performs duties or other responsibilities which may be assigned by the Management
Assist in the maintenance of the Company Quality Management System.
Communicate with the authorities to follow up regarding the status of the applications, updating standards and circulars .
Manage Microbiological analysis in food matrices including Frozen & Chilled Products.
Determine food pathogen and indicator micro-organisms in processed food, raw materials, feed, raw materials, water and swab Establish new methods and modifications in existing methods as per requirements
Isolation & Identification of Food pathogen by using Vitek & MDS (Molecular Detection System)
Preparation of SOP as per ISO & GSO Standards.
Maintain Laboratory records as per ISO 17025 requirements.
Ensure raw material testing, environmental monitoring sample testing, GMP utilities testing, in-process and final product testing.
Ensure all equipment, installation commissioning, qualification, reagent and sample qualification, method transfers and other microbiology-related studies
Perform sample management duties which may include movement and storage of samples, reconciliation of sample receipt
Review quality control reports -Determine causes of non-conformity with respect to product, specifications, and/or operating or production problems using associate input to develop and implement change to improve.
Coordinate with quality inspections, troubleshoot on products non-conformance, process flow and perform necessary corrective actions
To check and improve on quality control procedures for internal and/or suppliers from the raw material stage through to the finished product
Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
