Due to natural disaster (earthquake, hurricane, flood) there are chances of large number of drawbacks (i.e. disconnection of electricity etc.). But it is necessary to provide electricity to sensitive areas (like hospitals and security agencies) to save the lives of people. It can be done by designing a micro-grid and its intelligent protection system via wireless medium. When the fault occur in the grid system in Is-landed mode, the system distributed in different parts. There may unbalance between load and supply in sensitive load area and system will unstable.
Objectives:
1. Design a reconfiguration algorithm that can provides solution to maintain power to sensitive loads.
2. Model a micro grid that consists of DER as well as sensitive and non sensitive loads.
3. Design intelligent controller that can regulate power sharing among DGs in an islanded and grid connected mode of operation.
4. Design controller that can manage power exchange between grid and micro-grid as well as among adjacent micro-grids.
