• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• As environmental services is responsible for the safety and cleanliness of a hospital or other healthcare facility.
• Dusts furniture, woodwork and equipment and dust-mop floors, Polishes and clean fixtures in rooms and bathrooms.
• Operates mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuum cleaner, shampooers and related environment service equipment.
• Wet-mop rooms, halls and other areas; shampoos rugs furniture.
• Cleans vents fan fixture, top of windows, door frames and other areas using a ladder.
• Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials using specified bags or containers
• Clean and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathroom.
• Performs terminal cleaning procedures of patient rooms and prepares rooms for new occupants; follows isolation procedures in isolation rooms.
