Responsibilities:
1. Establish and manage relationships with government officials and school administrators.
2. Participate in, and assist training sessions on standardized administration of EGRA tools and survey questionnaires.
3. Serve as a master trainer to lead a training of enumerators and field supervisors on standardized administration of EGRA tools and survey questionnaires.
4. Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results,
5. Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities,
6. Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks
7. Oversee and help to organize the field administration of the operational tools.
8. Ensure compliance with standardized procedures and protocols for the administration of the EGRA tool and the survey questionnaires.
9. Serve as the contacts and point persons for EGRA’s technical staff during data collection.
10. Prepare regular report updates.

Facilitate in-service professional development activities in the UC/Tehsil/District that include face-to-face trainings, follow-ups and roll out of TIG activities.
Support teachers in implementing newly learned concepts and skills through regular follow-up support visits to schools.
Ensure implementation of project activities in accordance with the work plans, performance milestones and budget allocations agreed upon with the local implementation partner(s).
Work in close collaboration with teachers, head teachers and concerned education officer(s) in preparing and implementing school/ union council/ tehsil based reading improvement plans and strategies

1.Technical Task
Assist District Program Manager in managing administrative and logistic issues
Assist District Program Manager in developing monthly cash projection against program activities, disbursement of project beneficiary allowances, district based procurement (as and where needed) and maintaining update financial and compliance records/matters.
Assist District Program Manager in compiling monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports by providing updated and accurate information from field. In addition, collect and share success stories from the field to highlight impact of the program.
Prepare/partake in detailed weekly/monthly plans including field travels/school visits while adhering to quarterly/annual work plan targets and indicators.
2.Record Keeping
Record Keeping of Face to Face Mentors, Head Teachers, Teacher & Circle ASDEOs Trainings
Ensure proper record keeping of the TIG meetings, follow-up visit, and teacher observation tools and reporting those to the district office accordingly.
3. M&E Information system
Timely updated of all Project related data i-e
Teaching learning Material, School Support Visit Forms, Clustering, Enrolment Data of the students, Compilation and Online Entries of Means of Verification (MOVs)Teacher Inquiry
A. Responsibilities
Supporting and observing the implementation of a system of teacher professional development in a District
Offering continuing professional support to the primary head teachers acting as professional supervisor, teachers and head teachers of District
Reviews Tentative work plans and reports of ASDEOs and Supervisors for implementing
Participate in meetings with Coordinator GIZ (Team meeting), District Education Officer (DEO), Deputy Commissioner Battagram and other Government officials for sharing the program objectives and progress.

Cooperates with the Training Specialist teacher professional development in assisting the education administration of the District in adapting and implementing suggested system Continuing Professional Development for teachers
Attends Monthly Circle Monitoring Meetings, Support and Cooperate with the ASDEOs, SDEOs Education Department
Keep systematic record of the school visits/Monthly Monitoring Meetings
Works as Master Trainer as and when required
2. Management and Coordination
Establishing a monthly plan of monitoring and support visits to primary schools in District.
Coordinate with local implementation partners and support them in addressing implementation challenges in collaboration with government counterparts and local stakeholders.
3. Teacher, Supervisors and Academic Supervisors Training
Assist in liaising with cooperating government and private institutions for implementation of project activities at Regional and district level
Frequently Travel to field sites to provide support in implementation and monitoring of project activities
Contribute to capacity building of teacher training staff/Master trainers
4. Monitoring and Evaluation
Compile, analyze, and maintain information on project activities and its financial data
Develop project annual and quarterly work plans, M&E reports, as well as periodic narrative and financial prog
Comply with Save the Children’s Child Protection Policy and guiding principals
Provide orientation and training to community, paraprofessional teachers, government teachers on related to ECCE project including school health and nutrition, teacher training, SMC training, distribution of teaching and learning materials, etc.
Conduct trainings, support and monitoring visits for SHN, Teachers Training and SMC/PTC revitalization and other program activities.
Facilitate district education staff and school teachers in all aspects for jointly implement ECCE project.
Conduct parenting session through ECD mobile unit and community reading workshop.
