We are seeking a proactive and organized Salon Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our salon. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing appointments, providing excellent customer service, handling inventory, and maintaining overall organization. A flair for social media content creation is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Appointment Management:

    • Schedule and manage client appointments efficiently using salon booking software.
    • Coordinate employee schedules and transportation logistics to ensure seamless operations.
  2. Customer Service:

    • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries across various communication platforms, including WhatsApp, email, Instagram, and Snapchat.
    • Provide an exceptional customer experience to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor salon supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
    • Restock and reorder supplies as necessary, utilizing inventory management tools.
  4. General Organization:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the salon to ensure efficiency.
    • Use organizational tools to track and manage administrative tasks effectively.
  5. Social Media (Optional, but Preferred):

    • Assist with day-to-day social media posting and engagement.
    • Create basic video and graphic content to enhance the salon’s online presence.

Skills & Tools:

Required:

  1. Appointment Booking:

    • Proficiency in salon booking software such as Fresha or Mindbody.
  2. Customer Service Tools:

    • Experience using WhatsApp, Outlook, Instagram, and Snapchat for professional communication.
  3. Inventory Management:

    • Familiarity with tools like Square for Retail or inventory features in Fresha/Zenoti.
  4. Organization & Administration:

    • Competence in tools like Trello, Asana, Google Workspace, and Canva for managing tasks and content.

Preferred:

  • Social media skills, including content creation and video editing for platforms like Instagram and Snapchat.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role in the beauty, wellness, or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Tech-savvy with a keen eye for detail and organization.
