Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Management:
a. Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
b. Oversee project execution, monitoring progress against timelines and milestones.
2. Budgeting and Financial Management:
a. Prepare project budgets, considering resource requirements and cost estimations.
b. Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
3. Bidding Process:
a. Lead or contribute to the bidding process for new projects, providing technical input and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
4. Technical Project Studies:
a. Conduct detailed technical studies for projects, including feasibility assessments, risk analyses, and other relevant studies.
5. Sub-Contractor Evaluation:
a. Evaluate and select sub-contractors based on their qualifications, capabilities, and adherence to project specifications.
6. Contract Department Collaboration:
a. Collaborate closely with the contract department to ensure seamless project contract execution.
b. Work with legal and procurement teams to negotiate and finalize contracts.
Civil Engineering:
1. Manage projects related to roads, rock cutting, and infrastructure development.
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 7-10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering roles.
3. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in office-based positions.
4. Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
5. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and manage sub-contractors.
6. Familiarity with contract management processes and legal aspects of project execution.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
8. In-depth knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
