As the technical expert and liaison between the sales team and customers, providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and support throughout the sales process. Reporting to the BDM, the Sales Engineer plays a critical role in understanding customer needs, articulating product capabilities, and driving sales growth through solution-based selling.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's waterproofing services, systems, and solutions, including their features, benefits, applications, and performance characteristics. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to building waterproofing technology and construction materials.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve sales targets, expand market presence, and maximize revenue growth. Identify target market segments, customer profiles, and business opportunities for sales expansion and market penetration.
  • Identify and engage with potential customers, such as Facility Managers, Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Engineers, Building Owners, Developers & Contractors to understand their waterproofing needs and requirements.
  • Conduct on-site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate existing waterproofing systems, identify problems or deficiencies, and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop customized waterproofing solutions tailored to their specific project requirements, budget constraints, and performance expectations. Prepare and present technical proposals & reports, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations to customers, addressing their concerns and questions effectively.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts and strategic customers, serving as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, negotiations, and account management.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to gather insights into market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning. Maintain / ensure confidentiality.
  • Use market intelligence to identify opportunities for product differentiation, innovation, and competitive advantage in the building waterproofing market.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, analyzing sales data, trends, and KPIs to assess sales performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Provide input and feedback to sales management on market conditions, customer feedback, and product improvements to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand visibility and business development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil will be preferred)
  • 2 to 3 years relevant industry sales experience.
  • Valid KSA Driving License
  • Basic Arabic knowledge
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
